List three technologies that the school plans to utilize. Explain each one.

1) Rainwater collections, Geothermal A/C, and Solar energy.
2) Rain barrels for rain collections. For Geothermal they will use underground pipes for A/C. For Solar energy they will most likely use solar panels.

Earth Day is coming up. Click on one of the Core Issues. Which one did you choose? What is the big problem associated with this issue? What can you do to fix this problem? Give me a solid paragraph.

1) Energy
2) The big problem is finding a renewable resource.
3) I can try to use less energy until 'they' find a new, suitable, reliable, renewable resource. I can be resourceful with the enrgy in my house. I can also participate in the Earth Hour Campaign.I coulad also not ne wasteful to the energy at others people's houses when I go over to my friend's and familie's house.

Hurricane

Which hurricane did you choose? What category was it on the Saffir-Simpson scale? Tell its story. How many lives were lost? How much damage did it cause? Include at least one picture.

1) Hugo

2) Category 5 (When it hit land it was a category 4)

3) Hugo started out as a Tropical Wave, then turned into a Tropical Depression, then into a Tropical Storm. On the 13th of September, it turned into a Hurricane.

4) A total of 50 poeple. It cost a total of $8 billion.

1) I think that blog post number 6 was my best because it was the easiest and it was the most fun.

2) I deserve a 100 becasue I completed them well.

3) My favortie topic was earthquakes. The reason is because earthquakes are really interesting and they are my favorite natural disaster to study.

1) It's Official: An Asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs. The publisher was Yahoo! News.
2) The thesis was that the giant asteroid created a "Hellish Environment" and a global winter.
3) I do not agree with this statement becasue it is not the ONLY probable reason the dinosaurs are extinct.
